Villas Plugin

The largest current subscriber of the Webonizer Content Management System is the first to commission a private Plugin for the Webonizer system. Stewart Granville, owner of Last Minute Villas and other vacation home sites in Florida (as well as other businesses in Florida), commissioned Webonizer developer Shawn Olson to convert his vacation home directory to Webonizer.

Olson originally developed Last Minute Villas for Granville in 2004. Many of its core functions were a clone of Olson's own site, modified to meet Granville's demands. But as Granville launched more and more sites, it became difficult to keep all projects on the same page.

"I had problems updating sites whose code was sometimes a couple years old," said Olson. "I was already working on conglomerating my systems for my own site and the Artistic Network and realized that Stewart needed the same kind of system."

As soon as Webonizer was finished in early 2006, Olson started the Villas plugin for Granville. Though written by Olson, Villas plugin is the property of Stewart Granville; Olson and Webonizer do not have the right to sell the Villas Plugin.

The Villas Plugin is running on Last Minute Villas and Last Minute Vacation Homes with plans to launch it on Orlando Villa Owners as well.
